Dynamic Audiences - FAQs
Answers to common questions about Dynamic Audiences
General Overview
What is Dynamic Audiences?
Dynamic Audiences is an AI-powered module that creates highly responsive player audiences in real-time. It enriches player data with betting outcomes, behavioural triggers, jackpots nearing payout and live sports statistics.
This enables personalised, event-driven journeys that improve engagement, retention and long-term player relationships.
How does Dynamic Audiences work?
After transactional betting and gaming data is connected to Amplifier AI, Dynamic Audiences continuously tracks live events and player behaviours.
It then generates audiences automatically in real-time or enables CRM teams to build their own via a self-service UI with access to real time information. These audiences are delivered directly into CRM or any other system for activation.
Additionally, an API is provided which contains real-time player information, accessible by any of your player engagements systems (e.g. provide real information at the point of email open via Movable Ink).
Use Cases & Campaigns
What campaigns can I run with Dynamic Audiences?
You can run campaigns across three main modes:
- Real-Time Triggers: Example campaigns include re-engagement with upsell after bet settlement and communications to targeted jackpot players when jackpots hit points of interest
- On-Demand Audiences: Create up-to-date audiences in real-time to react to live events
- Personalised Stories: Example campaigns include monthly or tournament wrap-ups to strengthen long-term engagement
What channels can these campaigns run on?
Dynamic Audiences integrates with leading CRM and marketing platforms, allowing audiences to be activated across email, push notifications, in-app messages, CMS and SMS.
How does targeting work for a campaign?
Dynamic Audiences builds personalised, targeted audiences using transactional, behavioural, and contextual data. Whether generated manually or triggered automatically, Amplifier AI selects the most relevant players and creates audiences with updated real-time player information.
More information, including definitions of each attribute, can be found in our linked On-Demand Audiences Sports, Casino and Cross-Sell guides.
Can I apply exclusion lists (e.g. safer play)?
Within the On-Demand mode of Dynamic Audiences, exclusions can be applied within the interface to refine your audiences further. When it comes to exclusions relating to safer play (e.g. marketing opt-outs or blacklist rules), these are typically managed directly within your CRM or internal systems.
We already have our own audience segments / ML models. How is this different? Can they work together?
Dynamic Audiences is designed for real-time responsiveness and gambling specific event logic, which traditional CRM segments don’t typically support. Your existing custom audiences can be uploaded into the On-Demand Audiences interface to further refine targeting, and you can also apply your own audiences within Personalised Stories if desired.
Integration & Implementation
How long does it take to typically integrate?
Integration timelines vary by operator, but most go live within 6–10 weeks, depending on data availability and CRM setup.
What data is required for Dynamic Audiences to work?
At minimum, transactional betting and gaming data in batch is needed. However real-time data is recommended, as it ensures audiences are generated with the most current player information. The full data guide is available <here>.
Can you accept additional data feeds?
Yes. Amplifier AI is flexible and can ingest additional player or contextual data, such as sportsbook stats, 3rd party feeds or custom segments and engagement signals.
Does Dynamic Audiences work in real-time? Is real-time required?
Dynamic Audiences is designed to operate in real-time, with player data updated to the second and audiences generated instantly, a key differentiator from batch-based systems that can take hours or days. Whilst real-time data is recommended, batch data can also be used, with the trade-off that audiences will only be as current as the most recent batch received.
Is data co-mingled or shared with other customers?
No. Each operator’s data is kept fully siloed and secure. Amplifier AI processes data in isolation per customer.
What partners are you integrated with?
Dynamic Audiences connects with CRM systems such as Bloomreach, Braze, Movable Ink, Xtremepush, as well as gaming specific partners like Thunderbite, Sportcaller, Betmate and Stats Perform.
Can you integrate with other partners?
Yes. Dynamic Audiences supports API-based and file-based integrations, allowing swift onboarding into new platforms.
What if we have a proprietary tech stack?
Dynamic Audiences is highly flexible and can connect via API, file drop or via a direct feed to your proprietary systems.
What are ways of working post-integration?
Future Anthem provides onboarding support, regular check-ins, QBRs, and performance reviews to ensure success after launch.
What is your average downtime? Can you share SLAs?
Dynamic Audiences is designed to be always-on with high availability and minimal downtime, operating with an SLA of 99.9% uptime.
Performance & ROI
What uplift can we expect from Dynamic Audiences?
Operators see improvements in campaign conversion rates, reactivation rates and incremental share of wallet compared to static segments.
How is performance measured?
Performance is measured through key engagement and revenue metrics such as:
-
Engagement rate
-
Player reactivation at key moments
-
Incremental revenue uplift
-
Retention of triggered players
How do I track performance? Do you provide dashboards?
Performance tracking typically requires information held on the client side, e.g. which customers were actually marketed to post exclusions, and target/control groups created at point of send.
We work closely with operators to close the feedback loop, ensuring visibility into which players were marketed to (as exclusions in the CRM may have been applied) and what content was delivered. We then analyse performance collaboratively, both at the audience level and holistically across campaigns, to measure the impact of Dynamic Audiences once activated.
